Lol, i managed to drop an alan key in the engine bay yesterday
I managed to get it out, took a while though, didn't want to risk leaving it just in case.
i would have thought that the clip would just get crushed or fall out though.

I wouldn't worry, I've dropped nuts, bolts, clips etc in there and when I go for a drive I can hear them rolle off the undertray and onto the road.
Was going to do this a few months ago, but never got round to it.
Gonna take the lining off this weekend, just wondering if anyone has experienced any ill effects from removing doing so.

tell you what my lining had a like burn patch on it when i took mine off, thank god i took it off dont want it catching fire although im sure it wouldnt
Got round to taking my lining off. Don't think it sounded that much louder although I'm running a bog standard set up.
I imagine with a 007p & jetex setup it'll be a lot louder.

iv taken the lining off mine can hear the engine a little more but i took it off coz makes it look abit tidyer
