bonnet struts

I have bought myself a set of the bonnet lifters from ebay, I got the last set.

1st question, Could you fit them the other way round with no problems?? Only because I would prefer the ram bit on the wing?

2nd question, Which bolt on the bonnet do you take switch, the top or bottom one??

And to close my bonnet you have to slam it fairly hard, should I align it up correctly etc before I fit them? If so, whats the best way to do it??

hi there well we just followed the instructions but people say they have some fitted the other way no problem

i got another set aswell to replace the old inxx one`s i had previously so that be why they going down fast lol. i took the rubber bungs off with my 1st set and they ok. got to say the jom set are alot stronger than the inxx and i nearly had my chin off when i lifted it for the 1st time.

oh and i fitted them how it says and they are ok, bonnet shuts ok to.

craig, you could always put a washed under the slam panel for a little more adjustment on it

With the ram end attached to the bonnet or the ram end attached to the wing bit??

yes kezz. in my defence, my last pair of struts said to put ram the other way. why is it women are always right??

you know we always are you just dont like to admit it
