Just a heads up for anyone fitting them with getting heat out of the engine bay make sure that you fit them as close to the front and as wide as you can. With the holes in the vent facing the windscreen!

Considering it myself on the platinum grey. I would spray the vents to match the car.

Seems like I'm in the minority in hating these. Did all the bonnet vent stuff 25 years ago.

I'm not doing it to change the look of the car.

This might be a dumb question but do vents allow more cold air to flow into the car as you're driving? So the air filter sucks in more cold air. Or is it purely for allowing the hot engine air to escape?

I believe its for more hot air to escape. I think the flowing air (over the bonnet) is sucking hot air out via the vents

Yeah its to let hot air escape. The only downside is it doesn't look all that great..
