I never touched the n75 when fitting the gauge, but will check to see if something is wrong.

May be worth re-seating the connector, as it may have been nudged while doing the work ??

Like I said, I got very similar symptoms. It's a starting point ;)

What sort of vac hose did you use? When I was checking everything worked before running the hose thru the bulk head I used the stuck that came with the gauge, and that collapsed, and caused a false read...??

I used the standard clear 3mm vac hose that came with the kit, i cable tied the feed in the engine bay, maybe ive over tightened and its causing a crushed point, would that effect the reading.

Not 100%, but it may do.

I'd have a look on eBoo for some nice silicon hose in the interim.

Well undid the bypass and retried to see if it made any difference, to no avail, i did notice that the gauge hosing was very warm and looked like it had flattened in places, so going to get hold of some more silicon hosing as the stuff i have i just to short, and was going to re-connect it closer to the inlet manifold, i.e further down the hose that connects to the lower left hand side of the inlet manifold so that should help with keeping the hose cooler and as its silicon it shouldn't matter.

Has anyone else used the standard plastic tubing that comes with the autogauge dial, 3mm clear stuff it is, any problems?

What tube are you all using then? Just ordered myself a boost guage and hope to fit it at weekend :)

I would have thought the clear platic tube would have been quite good as its not soft like silicon so less likely to kink up?

Also where did you take the feed for the illumination from?

Sorry to go a bit off topic...

You could leave the clear plastic pipe from the guage to the engine bay and put an inline connector as close to the bulk head as possible. No heat issues in this area of the engine bay
