How does one plumb a boost guage into a TDI if he no longer has the solid plastic OE boost hose?

Quite fancy a nice boost guage, but surely you can't plumb a 25PSI line into a silicone hose can you?

Is the only alternative the silver pankcake by the drivers wheel arch?

If you are keeping the EGR mechanism you could always drill and tap that as its easier to get off the car than the inlet manifold.

Yes thats where i've drilled into mine.

But, if you're fitting nice silicon hoses you dont want an ugly egr valve in there :D lol

Novelty to be blatently obvious lol.

There was a kit going cheap and wanted to see if it would make the slightest bit of difference. It didn't lol. Maybe when its on higher boost with a bigger turbo i'll start to notice some gains, either way i suppose at least its in place now...
