boost gauge wiring help please?

hi guys ive had my boost gauge 4 ages now and want to get lights working on there.and im confused i got 3 wires white orange black any1 no wer these go and wat wires they are as i dnt wnt to short fuses lol

yes but the wires are difrent colours and dont lyk playing with electrics jst dont no wot colours are wich i got white black and orange. its doin my head right in lol

iirc mine has 2 wires. black and white. so as you have a third could orange be earth?
