you wont need a 35psi gauge for a k04, i'll give your engine 2 weeks at anythign over 30psi!

high 20's will be about right.

didnt think i would need 35psi, its only a gauge anyway, doesnt mean my engines running 35psi, not a chance infact

everyone is worrying me now about the oil pressure gauge, might swap it for a oil temp gauge now

You wont need a 35psi guage but you will be making 20+psi remapped. I suppose if you map doesnt make 20psi in the first place then you wouldnt need one.

dont know what its running at the minute, hence why i need the gauge
it is remapped though, its on a ARP 98RON Stage 2
loads of other guddies on their too
Has anyone got pics on where these connect to the engine ?
and where you feed the cables through the car to engine??
iv got a amp wired up and the cable runs under the glovebox to the battry, i presume these will run through at a different place to the engine????????

So does anyone know the score on where these connect to the engine and where they pass through to the engine from the car ????

Pillers just arrived, still waiting on the dials

hi mate,

take your boost gauge off the top of your DV, make a cut in the boost pipe part way, and use the tpiece supplied to make the connection.

You can pull the pipe and amp wiring through by the ECU in the window panel, under the plastic.

Just ensure you insulate a wire coat hangar as ive seen people poke one straight through and down into the back of the fuse box! me included!

the amp is already wired up through to the battry via under the glove box

we originally tried putting it under the cpu but couldnt get the cable through

just to confirm, you mean the pipe at the top of the dv, the thinner one than the 2 on the sides?

what about the oil temp?

yep the small hose on the top of the DV pointing upwards, you wont have much length on the hosing so you wont be able to take it through the passenger side.

Oil temp sensor, i think there is a post not too old with photos :)

finally got the boost gauge wired up last night (after it only arrived yesterday), seems to be working fine, the boost goes between 18 & 21psi every time, does that sound right ??

cant get the oil temp wired up though, how on earth do you get your hand down to get the nut off youv got to put it onto ????? is their somewhere else this can go ?????

both gauges look mint by the way :) - really happy with them
