Boost Guage

Boost Guage - Not the usual, bit of advice for ya!

Fitted my boost guage today, found the usual routing (bonet release) of the vacuum pipe very very diff! especially since i couldnt get the wipers off!
So i ran it through a grommet just behind the MAF and down a foot, comes out in the passenger footwell under the glove box! Fantastic!
BUT!!!
My A Pillar pod has a nasty screw in it! Not to handsome! Will have to remidy this!

Oh and while routing my pipe beind the dash! Found my drivers footwell was VERY damp under my mats on the carpet! Boo!

Is it a nomad pillar cos newer ones have a screw near top to stop em moving, got an old one myself held on by velcro, been on two LCR's never moved at all!
Time for silicon in the doors mate!!

That sounds like a very similar route to the one people take to feed ICE power cable into the cabin?

Also is the Gromit big enough to get 4 AWG amp cable through it. Im worrid about how im going to thread it in. In my £3 i had it running in to my wheel arch, under the liner then through the door gromit.. Not ideal!! lol

my boost gauge piping went through to the bulkhead on the drivers side and was really easy!!! did it whilst i was wiring it up to the light dimmer!!! Looks like its time for you to take the door cards off n get some sealer in!!!!!
