Evening guys, after a little advice. Just replaced the Turbo on my LCR at the weekend after the compressor wheel had snapped off. Emptied out the intercoolers, fitted new gaskets etc.

Since then its just not ran right, on a couple occasions the engine would run away and continue revving/boosting even though my foot was off the throttle and then I heard the turbo stalling numerous times like the wastegate or DV wasn't opening. No faults found on the ECU. Reset the throttle body and it still had issues.

Today I checked the Wastegate and DV, after removing the DV and cleaning it, it then started dumping correctly but occasionally still revved up/boosted after coming off the throttle, rechecked all the DV and Wastegate pipes were ok. Tried it again, it didn't seem to run away again but the boost pressure spiked quite high (~1.5bar) and then developed a misfire, but 5 seconds later it cleared and seemed to run ok afterwards.

Going to give it another run later it see if its ok but just in case, am I missing something obvious or this potentially an N75 or N249 issue?

Car is a LCR 225, standard map, Turbosmart Kompact recirc DV, SFS Boost pipes and SFS 80mm TIP. New turbo is a recon K04-023 from AET Turbos.

Thanks in advance :)
