sorry guys another thread about boost

only joking, quick question really.
if i boot my car in a low gear i boost at 1 bar. if i drive steady, lets say 70mph in sixth, if i then put my foot down the turbo only boosts upto 0.7 bar.
is this normal or do i need to make my dv spring tighter?

by the way im running the forge split r.

It should boost higher in 6th?

hi guys.
just checked all the pipes in my engine bay. they all seem to be good apart from 1,the the pipe that connects the pcv valve back to the tip. the pipe is not split but has a very bad kink in it. i spose when ur taking in air this would cause that pipe to close completely.
i read a thread on a vw forum saying you can lose boost if the pcv fails.
so if my pipe closes up this would cause the pcv to artifically fail.
so what do u guys think?
