Easy question for you's - do all V5's (or Toledo's for that matter) have the 'S' badge in the centre of the boot? Mine is missing and just wondered if it should be there or not? :)

Mine's had aftermarket badges fitted. It still has the S in the middle, but says Toledo on the left and V5 on the top right. The letters aren't in the normal VW syle font, but mine's a very very early toledo V5 - march 1999 T reg.

SEAT original stickers are hugely expensive, I'm sure I saw the 'Cupra' tiny badge for £40 when I went to the dealer last week. It's because they're made up of several layers or something, and are really good quality.

If you don't want a perfect match, I'd suggest Ebay....

By the way, does anyone else have trouble finding SEAT stuff? I've just done a look for SEAT badge, and got 900 hits for seat badges IE the one you sit on rather than the one you drive!

Yeah i always have trouble finding seat stuff. If i type in something like "Seat Toledo Leather Seat", i am given everything with the words "Seat, Toledo, and Leather" instead of just leather seats for a seat toledo. lol

i will be taking mine off this week... if any 1 wants it for nothing, obviously will have to find another way of sticking it on, good double sided tape, or tiger seal, then its yours

cheers
