Boot Badges

I have just purchased a "turbo" badge, its a VX220 one but i think they look quite smart.
Want to put it on the bottom right of the boot, I plan on removing the Seat and Ibiza badges too.

What have people used to get the badges off? Did you heat them up?
Also, anybody got any pics of the way they have badged the boot?

boil the kettle.. pour it over the badge.. this will soften the glue and enable you to jut pull the original badges off without a mess

Can add this works very well, if you have a bit of fadeing (normally on the red ones) use a bit of t-cut and itl be fine

Great thats v helpful. Where do people think the best place to put the new turbo badge is?
Any pics of people who have done this would be good too!

There was a thread a while back with similar questions, and lots of examples.

Hairdryer on the badge till the glue gets soft, then run some sowing thread along the back of the badge in a swaing motion to cut through the glue.

Heat up again anything remaining and it will just rub off.

The give the area a wash and polish.
