Anyone else find the boot carpet anoying you can lift it up but can't take it out because its trapped under the back seats, mine is covered in sand from the previous owner and i can't give it a good hoover with it stuck in the boot, prefer to take it out and give it a good shake then vac raaa :(

no you still can't remove the carpet even with the rear seats folded down, i think if you did manage to force the carpet out of the seats you would never get it in again

I have! remove the bottom of the rear seats and then the backs completely. it is a 17mm bolt from memory that holds the middle seat belt to the floor, then it all just pulls out. I have replaced the carpet with carpetted mdf so that I can actually put things in my boot without them falling into the spare wheel well!!

ah this is really interesting to know!! may come in handy!

I asked down at the seat parts desk if they did a boot tray of some kind or load liner but the bloke in the parts said they didn't do anything :(

what i didn't realise, and what the parts desk bloke failed to tell me is, i could use a boot tray from a standard leon instead, seen quite a few on ebay might have to invest

the load liner what is it, rubber matting?

You can see mine pass the pram
