I've never seen any up close, and don't know too much about the brand as a whole.

a) Are they 'too' cheap, and therefore poo?

b) Will they last?

c) I'm very concious of over stepping the 'Boy-racer' mark... is the brand 'chavvy'?

Any advice would be grand, as choosing wheels has taken me nearly 2 months now :(

BOSS!!????? You being serious, those wheels are...... only joking ;)
To be honest, if the wheels look good on your ride, who cares?

From what I've seen, Boss do make more budget wheels compared to some other companies. But if you find a set that look nice and suit your ride, then I wouldnt worry mate. ;) We all have different tastes and ideas on what looks good.

However, I recently bought a set of new Alloys for my Ibiza - cost me £800 (dont ask!!) - and I've kerbed THREE already (again dont ask. lol). Quite a soft alloy compound it seems. So price doesn't necessarily mean they will be stronger.

....you can buy tyres nowadays that can help save your alloys, as they have a thicker rubber bead around the outside, that helps prevent kerbing, to an extent. Bit more expensive, but not as expensive as having to replace a damaged alloy ;)

All the best with whichever wheels you go for!
