Brake confusion!

Right before you say use the search function i have and all that has done is leave me more confused!

I have a 2004 Ibiza FR which i love to pieces but i have always wanted to get brakes like the brembo ones, i'm sad i have always liked them.

Right so getting to the main part of the problem i love the 16inch wheels on my FR and therefore would like an option which wouldn't require changing for 17's

Any and all help is always welcome, plus any advice for upgrading the rears will also be appreciated.

I'm not an expert on this but I'm pretty sure due to the caliper being so large you can't get away with 16's and barely 17's.

I think most of the people here will say the same thing as I'm pretty sure the Brembo brakes are larger than the Cupras and they barely fit behind the 17 cupra wheels.

I'm not necessarily looking just at the brembo's don't some of the cupras have ap racing calipers??

All uk spec Ibiza Cupra's have big red AP's

The Audi TT calipers and discs fit behind 16's but it is tight, just a few mm's of clearance.

Good luck with the AP's they are very expensive and as rare as hens teeth.

So what model TT brakes should i look for?? and is this inclusive of rear brakes?

The TT has the same rear brakes as your FR.

There is a guy that sells 312mm TT front brake conversions for about £250, they are well worth it IMO. the 312's work sooooo much better than the stock FR rubbish.
