First ones would be a good colour match but personally I wouldn't put them anywhere near my car. Be much better off just painting/spraying your standard calipers for now and then fit a proper big brake upgrade at a later date.

Do you think they will look ugly? if i decided to paint the original ones where can I get the paint from and do you know of a good colour match? Thanks

I'd be more worried about a bit of plastic being caught by my wheels and causing any damage rather than how they look.

Have a look at VHT Caliper Paint. They do several colours but not an exact match for Speed Blue.

I've seen these caliper covers fitted to a hyundia and they looked totally stupid. They didn't fool me for a second. The fact is that the covers are too big and make your discs look even smaller than they really are.

Just clean and paint your real calipers a nice blue. Hammerite paint works well. I have painted mine silver and i think they look nice and tidy.

i used normal paint for my calipers.. yelow paint. if you are not a formula 1 driver it will hold up nicely for about 1 year or 2. special calipers paint comes only in a spray and it is verry difficult to mask everything around, this was my major set-back :)

I upgraded to the cupra brakes all round and took the calipers to pieces and paint them in hammerite smooth red with aerosol and I think they look awesome, defo better than standard looking ones!! Also fitted some red stainless braided hose all round :)
