I changed my wheels over at the weekend and noticed that the small screw that secures the brake disc to the hub when the wheels are off has sheered off. Obviously the disc is held by the wheel nuts when they are on, should I worry about this at all?
Next time you have the wheels off it will be worthwhile drilling and tapping the hole.
The screw is there just to secure the disc while the wheels are off. It is not going to make you car dangerous so put it on a "to do list" rather than not using the car.
