Cheers Luke, you're a gentleman! :)

Those discs look awesome, they're classed as "grooved" right? With the indent markings?

How much did you pay for full discs and pads all around if you don't mind me asking and from where too?

Pads for mine come up with wear sensor and without, I believe I don't have a wear sensor in mine, I haven't had the wheels off yet so can't check personally but would you say I'm most likely right to believe I am without a wear sensor?

They are classed as "c-hook" or "j-hook". Full discs and pads with delivery and vat came to £200 I think. Remember I paid extra for the gold coating and c-hook design. I got them from mtec brakes.

Mtecbrakes.com

Doesn't really matter tbh. You can stop the light coming up on the dash with vagcom anyway. If you want to be sure buy the ones with the wear sensor you can always cut it off

Cheers Sloth31 :)

Was looking at the Puregadgets one you linked to be honest, it's in my bookmarks haha! I was planning on just nipping out to halfords just for the sheer "quickness of it", mostly because of hoping to have it before I got up Manchester on the evening of Christmas Day.

Though to be honest, the price is much better than the one from Halfords, at least I know I was on the right path which is the most important one! :)

I think I'll order the Puregadgets one now due to price and I hope it does come before I have to go up Manchester haha! :D

Thanks again Luke, I've finally had the gas man come to do the annual check so I can get my head down, I'm shattered to say the least!

I'll give Mtec's website I look over after I've had a cat nap or so, then will get back to you on what I order hehe! :D

Concerning the brake wearing thing, I don't believe I do have it as I've never had a warning about brakes come up and when I bought the car I needed a new disc and pads on the one side due to the disc being broke and the pads non existent! :-o

To everyone though, thank you so much for all the help too!

Will be nice to be able to put some money in to the car when I get my money back on track as I'm wanting to get exhaust done when I can start saving and get the bumper I received from BouncerBeater put on :D

@Luke: Got in mind what I want hehe! :D

Front Discs: MTEC876 - Grooved Only (LEON 1.9TDI (110BHP)(AHF|ASV ENGINE)04|00-07|05)
Rear Discs: MTEC877 - Grooved Only (LEON 1.9TDI (110BHP)(AHF|ASV ENGINE)04|00-07|05)
Rear Pads: MDB1377 - (LEON 1.9TDI (110BHP)(AHF|ASV ENGINE)04|00-07|05)

http://www.mtecbrakes.com/brake-dis...gt-tdi-110bhp-ahf-asv-engine-10-97-04-99.html

Front Pads: MDB2034 (GOLF 1.9 GT TDI (110BHP)(AHF|ASV ENGINE)10|97-04|99)

Coating: BLACK EDITION PROTECTIVE COATING FOR 4 MTEC BRAKES PERFORMANCE BRAKE DISCS (BLACK EDITION 4 DISCS)

That was what tickled my fancy haha! Although I have had to search their website because they aren't showing front brake pads for my model of car, which was strange... I'm hoping that the front brake pads I've linked to are the right ones to be honest.

Though with my first purchase I'm going to get Pagid front and rear discs and pads for the time being when I get up Manchester from Eurocarparts. Reason for this is because I won't have the discs/pads for when I travel up Manchester and need the discs and pads changing for the new year. So at least having this in mind, I'll know what to get when I have done the disc and pad changes for the first time! :D
