Brake disk locating screw?

Hi guys,
Anybody know where I could get a screw that locates the brake disks on a mk4?
Somehow I managed to snap mine and I now have a noise coming from the disk like its not quite sat correctly.

if anyone here has any spares id happily pay postage etc

ps. If your wheels are on tight, you won't get any noise from the disc whether there's a screw in it or not

Yeah ive got a mr2 turbo and recently did the discs and all that holds those on is the wheel bolts! Lol

agreed that the screw does absolutely nothing more than keep the disc in place so that you can bolt the wheel on easier.

Ahh I see.
Just recently did the 312mm brake upgrade along with changing the suspention and it makes a metal on metal rattle now.
Will have to retrace my steps if its not anything to do with that screw.

id take one out the other side, measure & source a new one. probably m8 12mm countersunk or something. in stainless or titanium - just to be anal

Seen plenty cars with no screws and no problem, just a slight ballache when putting wheels back on. I'd be checking elsewhere for something a miss

Think it will be more like a m6 thread, torx head aswell. Stainless might give you more problems as stainless and mild steel dont mix and will just give you corrosion problems due to dissimiliar metals

It's an M6x18mm countersunk. Tons on eBay or any fixing shop will have some.

Using stainless hasn't ever caused me any hassle

there you go, I knew some1 would know the size. you could even get them anadized the same colour as your calipers..

Warning the new screw is a torx head, that superseeds the phillips head. So you might get a shock and need a torx bit to fit it.

Ditto. Allen head just has a little extra bite for tightening and removing for me

Torx on mine t35 bit needed. Re installed with a slither of copper grease. With regards to the op... I bet you've bent a dust shield
