Brake lights always ON EPC light also

If i turn my lights on the brake lights stay on and cause the EPC light to come on how can i fix this?

`had a 3 series in at work the other day with brake lights constantly on due to the brake light fuse blown,they came on as tell tale.

i had this 3 weeks ago and found id put the wrong bulb in, it looked the same but was not, if you have changed a bulb recently as it was blown check you have the right one as the garage changed it for the correct one and it was all sorted.

Oh your joking! My girlfriend bought my bulb for me!

When the brake light went I put the reverse light bulb in the brake light so i was legal. Then when she bought me the new bulb i swapped it back so clearly thats the reason!!

Cheers i look at it tommorow lucky i don't drive in the dark for work or anything!

Like i say the bulbs look the same as the ones in the local Esso, not sure what the difference is to tell you the truth, dont beat her too hard for it dude

its amazing how many lighting probs customers bring through the door due to wrong bulbs
