I've noticed my brake lights are sticking on every so often, seem to be able to clear it by pumping the break pedal - I take it that its a bad earth somewhere? where do I begin to look?

hey all sorry to revive this but ive got the same issue...
pressing the back of the brake pedal does turn the brake lights off - is it an easy job to replace the sensor/switch there?
