Missed this on the first seat, welding on the mounting points for the seat to mount to

Looking good Joe, seats look great..... thinking i may need a set of those for my build.

As for the seat mounts, is there any adjustment backwards and forwards or is it fixed ???

I've never seen any side mounts not installed so i was wondering how you set the position..

Graham,

I modified my side mounts to allow them to slide, simply by making the holes on the bottom into a long slot so I can loosen off the bolts underneath and slide them back/ forward to optimum position.

Just horrible to cut high tensile ally stuff.

Quick question, any specific reason you used round tube instead of square/rectangle stuff?

That's a question for Alex, I'm sure he can justify it. I will say that the T-45 stuff is is mega strong but very light.

Last couple of days I've been off work and able to crack on with a few bits on the car;

Painted up the bars with a light coat

Painted the harness bar satin black

Same with the baffled sump

Fitted

Carpet trimmed and refitted

Seats back in

Rear carpet fitted

As she stands now

Any comments/ questions welcome

It does yeah, I want to change it. Quite like the look of Berg's and I want a pop off boss for extra security really, oh and it's cool

Just need to address the airbag light which is going to pop up! Does anyone know if it can be VAGCOM'd out ?

Get one like mine or use a spacer to bring the wheel out
