Breather pipe

Howdy all,

My breather system has sprung a leak and while i am waiting for new parts i would like to apply a temporary fix, in the below diagram part number 24( 06A133783)just off the suction pump Y connector is split, i was thinking if i could just use some silicone hose in its place, does anyone know the size of the pipe, it looks wider on one end that the other.

Hey I am having this same problem with my car at the Moment, I am driving an Audi tt 225 and the exact part is leaking as per a smoke test. I am wondering what your solution was to this problem?

You should replace nr 23 when you're at it.
I was lazy and just bought this kit when my 23 split.

You get both of those and another intended for use as nr 29 but it's just a piece of straight silicone pipe so you could use it anywhere you like.
