Hi all

Tim here from Swanse, S. Wales. New to the whole VAG seen but loving it after purchasing my LCR last Saturday.

It was sad to see my previous car go (Corolla T-Sport) but the LCR more than makes up for that now.

Now the RR won't be as busy or as nuts as some others as I won't be modding much as I decided to purchase a modded LCR as from next year I'll be saving to move out! But after talking to Bill @ B5 I've already purchased his TIP after 5 days of ownership hehe :)

I haven't had the chance to detail & get new pics up so these are what the previous owner sent me

The car already has the following:
JBS phase 1 CC remap
Miltek exhaust with Scorpion de-cat & DP (I believe)
Weitec coilovers
HIDs
Powerflow induction (standard TIP)
Strut bar
forge 007 DV

I was told with additional add ons made the car a phase 2 and therefore running at around 275bhp unsure on Torque so I do need to get it dyno'd :)

Overall I'm very pleased. Although I have noticed a small amount of water is leaking in from both passenger doors but all parts ordered to fix and I'll be attempting the fix on weekend.

Hope you all like :)

Very nice Leon you got there mate, stance looks great.

I too have just bought my first LCR, had a Cupra before and loved that. I am also looking into the Badger 5 TIP, LOL seems like a good first mod.

Yours already has most of the stuff I want for mine though so your well ahead of me.

Looks very nice mate, its also in one of my favourite colours for an LCR. Just a quick observation, your exhaust looks like a blueflame not a miltek.

Thanks all :)

Well I was lucky as the car was only 40 minutes away as well as being a mint example.

Sure its a Miltek as I'm sure I've seen it on the paperwork I got but I'll double check to make sure.

Hows the best way to check DP has been changed? Just get under the car is it?

Yeah under the car is the only real way, you will have to take the under tray off also and then you should be able to have a good nose around to see the downpipe

Well homer seems impressed ....... Nice motor mate!!

I though the same when I saw the pic :D

Not as easy as I thought then. Although I doubt the undertray is a pain to take off but still in the way I guess.

Well can't wait until the weekend as after all this rain I can see little droplets of water coming under the speaker. So want to repair as its starting to annoy me now [:@]

But that's the only downside and I want to detail it.... OCD!!

I doubt I'll be able to do a winter detail this weekend as I need to sort the door leaks out. Quite bad at the rear now :(

But hopefully won't take me to long & I can give it a quick clean for more pics :)

Well weather in Wales has been against me so I'm not gona have the chance to clean or detail today.

However the Leaks have been sorted and the guide heledp me out and it is an easy job.

On doing so I noticed the drivers side had been done but...... what a sh!t job. The old seal was left and they just rammed loads of butyl sealant on top and mushed it all in. So to remove all that took a bit of time but I'm happy and very please that it will sort the leak :)

So, nomad pillar pod ordered but stuck on gauges to get... to many choices

Now I know most go for Autogauge with Halfords which I may get but what I want to check out are:

Do we go for bar or psi
And Mechanical or Electric

I only ask as I like the stepper motor gauges by rspec.co.uk.

Any help will be greatly appreciated :)

I went for the Blitz Mirror Drive mechanical boost gauge, well actually they were a birthday present thankfully as they bloody expensive!!!
