Hey don't knock it, some of the rare stuff goes for a lot of money. A friend buys all the brochures for evry car hes had (Cosworth 4x4 and R33 V-Spec to name a few). Hes just got what is effectively an A1 poster folded up with tech spec on it of the Serira Cosworth, cost £15, thats a fair bit for a brochure that was free at the time!
Don't forget those anoraks that sell loads going back 40 years+ at autojumbles. I have seen Mk1 Cavalier brochures going for as much as a Tenner!
I have the brochure and the accessories catalogue for it as well as the receipts, even for every drop of fuel thats gone in. (Plus i wrote down the trip comp stats on the back of every one and still do). Seriously sad - I need a life...
