Hi...

has anyone fitted the "Brushed Aluminium Effect Door Trim Kit" to their new Leon Mk2. Its allegedly a six-piece kit, one which I'm thinking of getting, and I wondered how easy/hard it is to fit.

If you've got some better pictures than the Seat accessory web site it would be very much appreciated...thanks!

It will be a piece of wee to fit, all the parts pictured are just clipped into place. I was thinking of geting the kit myself actually, so get some pictures up when it's done;)

Here's a picture for you, I believe they stick in place; for some reason you only get the speaker trim for the rear doors!

Now .... Correct me if i am wrong, however, that looks suspiciously like the front door with speaker trim around it.

It made sense to me; in the front you get what you see in the photo, in the back you only get the speaker trim hence the six piece kit.

I hope that makes it clear. :)

aahh... gotcha

It amazes me how red those seats look in photos ! yet when you're in the car it's just a red hue on the grey seat...

Oh... that looks quite smart!!!

Do you know where I could get it away from the Stealers????

Thanks

Guy

Does anyone know if this will fit the altea? The doors on the leon and the altea look very similar.

:)Whenever i've tried doing anything myself on my car it usually goes wrong, so is it really that simple to do yourself:shrug: Just place on and stick nothing needs removing, unscrewing or replacing. Liking the red interior, shame mines super bland grey!!!

It's crap - door strip started wearing on the drivers door after 8 months due to knee resting on it and vibrates like a bitch with the stereo up. It's a shame as I like the look, but the bits are really cheap.
