Giovanardi has been fined and given points on his licence for one of the incidents with DT in race two. Not sure which one it was, but at least it's something being done. Onslow-Cole was also dealt the same punishment for turning Turkington round after he passed him in race three.
Watching it on the ITV Highlights, and seeing it properly, gotta agree, well done to the BTCC officials, and the Vauxhall boys got what they deserved.
Its something but I think a points reduction would have been more in line with taking away what he gained by driving like he did and would also give seat more of a chance again. However points on licence is harsher so swings and roundabouts I suppose.

Well, its all too late really for Plato, even if they did hit Gio with a points reduction, I very much doubt it would change the outcome at Brands.
Hopefully SEAT Sport will use the winter wisely, (and I'm sure they will) and start next season with a competative package.
Second half of the season has shown that the car has the potential, all they have to do is work on the reliability I guess.........................
............and stop making decisions that are a bit silly, like sending Turner out on Slicks when its been pi55ing down all day.
I think that was a fairly reasonable call as they expected the track to dry out within the first couple of laps thereby giving Turner a good chance of getting in a points-scoring/podium finish - unfortunately it didn't work out and the track just stayed damp and greasy thereby leaving him to languish at the back

Neal was on the same combo as well, so SEAT followed suit, incase he charged through the field and caused some damage to their chances. Didn't work for him either, it was hilarious watching him battling with Martyn Bell and Erkut. I heard Bell talking in the paddock to someone, saying how he'd been racing side by side with Matt Neal.
