I had vredesteins and they are a good tyre. Avons aswellI am trying to gauge wear and realiability with price as I do alot of miles and need a good compromise.
Ku31s... You can't go too wrong.
Personally you wouldn't want to go any cheaper! There are some truely awful Tyres out there! Keep well clear of your linglangs, wingwongs, ditchfinders etc..

KU31's best all round tyre for price and performance.
I've had Nankang NS-2's on the rear before and they are terrible!!! They are very waxy and started to crack along the side walls. On par, if not worse than the 712's in the wet.
I think the age old rule of 'you get what you pay for' stands true on this one!
