I think it would be worth chasing the dealer. I was given mine a month after I ordered late in Jan but only after I checked in with the sales team and asked.
If it's helpful mine is down for week 11 which is the end of March so pretty much 2 months from ordering. I am not sure how much the spec you pick influences that as I added in a pan roof on a VZ2

Ordered mine on Dec 28 and due to the end of the year, Xmas and the blizzard we suffered on the first half of January here, got a provisional build date of 12weeks, some days later 11 weeks, then 9 and I'll pick up my car Friday (nail-biting in 3, 2, 1...).
In short: count around 8-9 weeks from factory acknowledge of your order. Nag and pester your dealer asking for updates, doesn't matter if is 'too early'. One week from Monday to Friday build date moved three times.

I will give them another week and chase them. I was told delivery would be 8-10 weeks from placing my order so I’m hoping it’s not longer than that as I’m due to go on holiday a couple weeks after the due date. I ordered a VZ2 with pan roof, towbar, extended safety pack and metallic tech grey paint.

In my case it was 5 weeks to get build date and build date was another month from that, so total more than 2 months between order and actual build date. I suggest continuing discussion in the other thread, to keep it all in one place.
I've ordered mine in December. First estimates were early May (week 21). Afterwards it got moved forward and is estimated to be here by end of month. I'm talking about delivery dates. Not sure about build dates.
About 3-3.5 months in my case. I've ordered what is effectively VZ3 in UK trim. My wait may be explained by the fact that rims became available from week 10 or so.

My Formentor is also due to be built in week 11, and as far as I understand that means it goes into production next week!
I’ve been told to expect to receive it within 4 weeks of it leaving the factory sometime next week.
Yeah thats what I was told, 4 weeks from build to getting to the UK. But I am not taking delivery until June so the wait goes on!!
I’m hoping mine comes as quickly as possible as my deal for my part ex was done on me taking delivery in March so I’m handing my car in next week so I don’t take a hit. It will just mean we are down to one car for a few weeks which isn’t a massive problem at the moment with us working from home!
Just received this from the dealer... Nail-biting started. It's dirty, with transport plastics too but... counting down to pick up tomorrow Friday by 16:00.

In fact, seems that stirred a lot of comments just because of the so uncommon combination of Urban silver with blue leather.
They put it in the showroom and dealer was telling me that was one dude really interested in MY car (answered that he can pull it out of my frozen fingers when dead...?) and joked about it.
Urban silver looks really interesting. I didn't see it in person so I ordered magnetic gray but I think your choice is a really good one. Car will stand out a lot as most Formentors will be various shade of dark gray or white.
I think urban silver works well with the wheel arches in darker gray.
I have just spoken to Cupra customer services and my car was built last week; it was originally allocated as week 11 which I think is this week so a bit earlier than planned.
It's just waiting to be assigned a boat and then it will be on its way to Grimsby, so I am just exploring options to end my current lease early as I wasn't due to get it until the end of June which seems a long way away!!!!

Once your car has been assigned a ship you can track it’s movements using www.marinetraffic.com and searching by the ships name.
It would be great to see some pics once you have it, as I've ordered the same combination.
Sure! Check it the images I attach (they're big). Interior is leather blue. As for additional details if you want and I'll take the photos.
