Can you jus spray / paint directly onto the standard ones ?

Or do you have to replace them

remove, sand down, primer, lightly sand, paint a few layers, lightly sand between layers, laquer, lightly sand

job done.

yeah.

i did the plastic trim on bottom of my old 1.4. Was meant to do a write up, but never did. A good search should find you the thread
