mine came today woop woop, love thes ariels, they look so much better than most ariels out there especialy the standard 1!

I can't get it off but I think thats cause I'm a wimp

yeh i have a OEM Aura... it seems to be fine, i gave it a quick 20 second test....

Not toooo much different, still pick up stations but it gets a bit crackly after 30 mph... but it pretty much did that anyway...
I don't even listen to the radio anyway... only have to at the moment because I got a tape/mp3 adapter stuck in my Aura tape deck and my Alpine IDA-X305 is financially out of reach until my birthday next week.
Again, I'm sure it will be different for everyone geographically, but for me, its a mod that's form over function.

Fair enough, must be just the shorter size or a bad reception area.
I even tried buying an additional amplifier (hoping that I could fit this (in addition) to the standard unit), but no luck
For all thoses having reception issues, the aerial is smaller so reception is worse!
On a serious note, just make sure the booster is fitted correctly and the blue wire is wired in correctly.
Hope that helps, made a huge difference on mine, but i still have issues in certain areas.
