Afternoon folks

I was wondering if anyone may have or can point me in the right direction to buy cables for an 000 051 444 L Ipod Adapter. Bought the Adapter of Ebay at a bargain price minus the cables. Not sure what cables I actually need but picture of the adapter attached

Any help would be greatly appreciated... It is going into an Exeo 09 Sport which has the Stereo minus the Sat Nav

Hi,
I just got an exeo there on Tuesday and it has the iPod connection in the glove box with the rns e sat nav unit. I read on previous posts the iPod connection uses the 6 disc changer port on the rns e unit meaning the tracks on the iPod show up on the sat nav screen as cd1, cd2, cd3 etc. I've been using the aux in port beside the handbrake and it sounds grand but you can't control it with the steering wheel controls or sat nav. I am selling my sat nav unit cause I want to stream the music from my phone...

Thanks for the reply Cordoba175. I too have the Ipod/USB connection in the glove box and my over all goal is to stream music from my Iphone/Ipod.

I thought this may have been a quick fix until I bought a new head unit but it's turning out to be a bit more tricky. It is possible with this adapter but I may need to take a trip to Seat or Audi to see what they say I need and what install takes it.

I was reading some posts last night and one guy said depending on the type of equipment fitted it was just a matter of activating the A2DP function on vcds but it sounds too good to be true!

Nothing that seems so simple is ever that easy. I've asked on a local forum also to see what I can come up with but bottom line is I need to get the cables ordered and then play about with the stereo to see what I can come up with
