any one near buxton with an lc and some knowledge of them as im sure theres more wrong with mine

ive done vag com and keep getting 177705 - pressure drop between turbo and throttle valve (check D.V.!) p1297-35-10---intermittent.

ive checked all the pipes but carnt find ant leaks.

ive got a splitter R on which is only 6months old

turned splitter back to resurculating

and still get same problem

but i have just read that you should not connect a boost gauge to the vacume pipe with these. which i have

what problems does it cause (is this one of them?)

any one got any picks of splitter connected to the FPR?

any help advice welcome as i love this car but getting sick of all the problems

any one been out again today but carnt find any thing would it do this if i had a hole or poor conection to my boost gauge as this is the only place i havent looked as this boost gauge seems to be working properly but meens taking it to bits to look.

i have used this shitty clear tube that came with the gauge and have been told under heat it can split and ive checked it after a run and it feels realy warm squigy

might be worth contacting forge to see if your set up could cause that fault.

have you disconnected the battery since changing back to full recirc?

is the car running ok?

you could block off the boost gauge pipe.. and see if it goes?

D.v Problems

I Know Its Been Asked And Asked But Ive Had A Fault Code Pressure Drop Between Turbo And Throttle Valve Check D.v

Ive Checked All The Pipes For Leaks And Havent Managed To Find Any Holes Or Leeks

Just Put My Old Plastic One On And It Runs Far Better Even The Dump Valve Sound Sound Better But I Have Got A Cia On

Boost Gauge Is Going From -20- 10 Peak

But With The Splitter R Valve On It Goes To -25 - 10 Peak Somtimes Even -30

Have I Set It Up Wrong Ive Had It On Full Recurculation And Semi Atmostheric And Get The Same All The Time

Any Advice Or Help Please Fed Up Of Things Going Wrong

Im Not Sure Where It Was Set Before But Now Ive Took It Of Ive Changed It To 2 Full Turns And Will Try It Again Later See If Theres Any Change

Havent Dis Connected The Battery But Cleared The Faults With Vag Com

Been Out Today And Put The Old Plastic D. V On And It Sounds Better Than The Splitter R

And On My Boost Gauge With The Plastic One I Get -20 - +10 Psi Peak

And With The Splitter It Shows -25 Somtimes -30 - +10 Psi Peak

I Have Emailed Forge But It Was On Saturday So Dont Expect An Answer Until Tommorrow

confused with faults

I Know Theres Been Loads Of Threads On This But Ive Been Reading For Nearly 2 Hours And Not Found The Answer I Want

Ive Got The Fault Code Come Up Saying N249 Malfunctioned

Thats After Ive Had The Pressure Drop Between Turbo And Throttle Valve With My Split-r

So I Swaped Back To The Standard Plastic Shity One And Im Getting The N249 Fault But Seems To Be Running Fine And The Bosch One Seems To Sound Better For Some Reason I Do Have A Cia On Aswell

Question Is Where Is The N249 Valve (any Pics As Im Thick)

What Problems Will I Get With This Failing

And Is There Any Checks Or Solutions For This Problem

And Any One Near Derbyshire Whos Done A N249 By Pass

ive looked for splits but noticed there a load of oil or sumit around the fpr if thats leeking would it cause this problem as forge have siad i sould have my boost gauge connected to that and not my vacume pipe (NO CAPITALS)

just realized its not the fpr whats go oilon it (like i said im thick) its the thing under the dump valve and a bit further forward where the vacume pipe goe down whats covered in oil but i thinck that might be of me engine as carnt see any leeks
