CAN BUS Gateway Location?

Make sure you make a backup of all the can gateway variables (ie the modules that your current can gateway has "installed") in VAG COM

Yeah mate sounds a plan I did it in my MK5 Golf Gti last year - pain in the proverbial to do it but got there in the end lol

I got my canbus out by disconnecting the top fuse rail behind the light switch and pull it down gives you more room for you hand you have to put your fingers behind it and just pull it comes of then to get a flat head screwdriver this is the tricky part at the same time you have to open the tab with the screwdriver and try and pull the red connector of at the same time it’s a bit tricky and prepare to scrape your skin of but it’s easy possible took me 5 mins if that
