I'm in the process of investigating a boost/limp mode problem on my 129k Y plate Leon 110. I'm intending to clean the inlet and block off the ERG as well as clean the MAF (still running original N18/N75/MAF etc so cleaning/swapping long overdue). I've just got a quote from the local seat dealer of £83 for a replacement N75 valve (IH0 906 627 A) but have seen new N75's on ebay for £15 (IJ0 906 283C).

Can I get away with replacing my potentially faulty N75(H) with a new N75(J)? Are the electrical connectors different on the (H) & (J)? I'd really appreciate it if someone could confirm or deny this please?

Background info - car has full Seat SH and I change the oil in-between services so it gets fresh oil every 5k.

Thanks for your help,

you could try flushing with carb or brake cleaner if it's not electrically dead
It's still alive, I'm just replacing the cheaper stuff before I get to the turbo (which I'll strip, clean and rebuild if it's at fault) ;)

I'll give vagparts a call as their website N75's look somewhat different to the N75(H).

Thanks for your help.
