Hi guys, i'm new to the site, and new to SEAT so if i'm asking an obvious Q, then please be easy on me;)
I am interested in getting VAG COM for my Leon FR (55 plate) but want to know 2 things.
Firstly, is it possible to use this on a PDA (HX 4700) and if so, is it compatible with my car?
Secondly, if the answer is yes to the above, then would i need anything special to enable it (interface etc)?
Thanks for any help you may offer.

There's forums on that site, but I have a serial vag-com lead from skpang and a serial pda lead for my 2210. In between the two you need a null modem adaptor.

I posted links to expansys parts before...

You can also buy a CF Serial card (Socket do one) and the other thing I wondered about was getting a "carcom" cradle from pdamods.com as they do them with a 9 pin serial connector (which you then plug an adaptor in for your particular GPS). These last two you can keep the PDA on charge in a cradle.

I have a cable for my PDA that is a 9 pin serial port and USB plug so i can plug the serial port into the null adaptor, and the usb side into a USB charger i have, so should be ok for charge.
So do i just need a null adaptor and cable? No interface?
