I managed to enable wireless Android auto on my car (I haven't tested wireless carplay yet) despite reading everywhere that this is not possible.
Obviously the car needs to be equipped with Bluetooth and WiFi. Mine came default with wired Android auto, so I'm not sure if this works otherwise.
My car is a 2020 Ibiza FR 115.

Head into multimedia and Adaptions.
First, in function_configuration_connectivity enable options that allow wireless connectivity.
Then, in Interface for external media, enable options Connection 3 and 4
I hope this worked for you, but you might need to reboot the infotainment system by long pressing the power button or you might need to turn the ignition off and back on again.
