can you fit tow bar to LCR?

Does anyone know of any company who can fit a tow bar to the LCR.
All the big names like Witter and Bosal don't list it as an option.
Seat do not do one either.
Only want to pull a small trailer.

Has anyone had one fitted anywhere?

i seem to recall that it says somewhere in the owners manual that it isn't advisable to tow anything due to possible over heating issues.............. and a LCR would look crap towing a trailer!

This has been discussed a few times have a search back, as I recall the handbook says it's not recommended........not sure if anyone found an aftermarket solution

Someone did post a pic of one towing a trailer a while back (had a track car on it).

I understand that the standard Leon bracket fits fine, as long as you're prepared to cut the rear bumper.

the handbook states its not recommended.. then explains how to do it with diagrams too!?

is the not recommended comment a general comment that most will have?

as for the LCR, id imagine the bumper would make it difficult, however perhaps not if the centre dark grey bit can be removed?

As I understand it, this is also a tricky area with insurance etc - as the LCR is not type-approved for towing, then if you did fit a towbar and had a bump, then technically they could refuse to pay out...
Annoying really for me as neither the LCR or 182 are approved, and having the option to take stuff to the dump in a trailer (with a removable bar, to save looking rubbish!) would be useful...

Seem to have found one now.
GDW do a type approved one for the Cupra R, who deal through PCT.
http://www.towbarsdirect.co.uk found one earlier from a product catalog recently updated within the last 3 weeks.
£172.50 delivered.
There is also a removable one for about an extra £120 I think.
I then phoned another place nearer me and they quoted me the same one for £199 fitted.
As I only need to tow a small trailer, this seems fine and will not have an issue with overheating in my opinion.
