So my car started running bad 2weeks after being mapped boost kept droping and droping. Turned out turbo was fecked and stem seals were gone. After spending loads more on it like rods ring bearings and new turbo iv just run it in still have the problem sometime that iv done another thread about yesterday called epc flashing.... But now iv plugged in my n75 the boost is still everywhere and mabey peeks at 15 or 19 then drop quick or slowly goes up. But never hits 22 like it should iv ran out of ideas. I'm getting it on vagcom tommorow any1 no what blocks to run and anyone have any more ideas cheers.

Go for blocks for requested boost against actauly boost to start 118
And for good measure cf and maf numbers. 02,020
Could be fueling related shot in the dark.

The guy with vagcom wasn't in today but I think iv made an improvement iv have changed the hose from inlet to fpr and move my hose for the boost gauge from there to the pipe that goes off the side of the inlet but now my needle flickers a lot boost now goes to a steady 18psi then slowly drops does this mean I still have a leak somewhere with the flickering

Flickering is normal when using that pipe for the boost gauge, its not a boost leak

Get yourself an anti buzz Tpiece and it will stop it

had it on vagcom today only hade codes from diconected sensors so wiped them. maff read 3.14 on idle, highest it got to on a second gear run was 198 g/s and my actual boost on a 3rd gear run was 1.2bar so didnt meet the requested of 1.45. i no the runs in these gears arnt the best but the guy with vagcom works down lanes so limited to speed. can anyone tell me my problem i have 4 n75 valves and they all do different things could it be they cant handle the boost should i just get a forge unos or is this not my problem

Forge UNOs is a great Mod before I used to get huge boost drop boost holds a lot better with mbc. Your problem seems to be a boost leak is my call.
Ps I have a mbc for sale lol

Oh to late just got 1 off forge for 90. Well I thought that so I put a smoke bomb that plumbers use in 1 of those cheap cola glasses from mcdonalds perfect size and it showed up 3 leaks in my i/c pipework then I used my diy boost leak tester after I sorted them and had no more leaks but still not right boost. Cheers for advice so far let's hope this works only boosted right for 2 weeks after map so haven't had time to apricate it

Shame I was giving it away! Got a shed full of crap. Kinda save it for my next project.
Hope you get it boosting right Chris I found a real good gain from the forge mbc really is a good replacement to the n75 which is really not meant to run above standard pressure IMHO they are nothing but trouble.

Yeh I would agree when it was getting mapped the n75 went and I peaked at 28psi so replaced that on the rollers for a new 1 and by the looks of it that 1 lasted 2 weeks so like you say don't think they can handle a lot of boost.

Hmmm. 4 x N75's vs ecu control of said N75

mbc would control boost smoother than what you already have, however, I dont think its likely 4 x N75 are the actual problem tho...

forge unos mbc works well as a band aid fix for boost control, but does make boost control on and off unlikely a well mapped n75/ecu combo

Ok cheers. I'm just trying to get my head round it when it started lossing boost after the map I called jabba and they said it would be very unlikely for an n75 to go after 2 weeks then my boost kept dropping so tried a mates n75 gave me a little more boost but still not normal. Eventualy my car started smoking and it had cooked the turbo and valve stem seals. Now with the new turbo has made no difference just running out of ideas

Put mbc on today and spent 4hour going over the car set the mbc to 22 as soon as it peaks there it drops to 18 then tails off to 15 near the redline still. I blanked off my dv and still the same. Can maps adjust themselves this much because something is very wrong.

So it should hold 19psi but it only holds 15 at the redline. How many miles has the turbo done. Could be wastgate leaking slighty higher up. Is still a tiny turbo asking it a lot

Well when it worked well after map it peaked at 22 and I never saw it drop lower than 20. The last turbo did the same thing as this so I'm thinking it should be something else. Iv got it booked in with alex on tuesday and he said to me they had an lcr in last week peaked at 1.7 bar and held 1.5 at redline so the turbo should be up to it. Just doesn't make sence
