Can't watch video's

Where there are videos inserted into threads, if I click on them it just appears as a still picture ie. appears centre screen with the background going darker, and there doesn't appear to be any play button, just the close button.

I'm guessing I need an add-in or a software update but haven't a clue where to start?

Is it me being dumb?

It's because the person who has posted the video has used IMG tags instead of the new and required IMGLINK tags

Is that something that could have changed since it was originally posted?

I ask because there are comments in the thread after the videos which mean they must've been watched.

Maybe if they are not new posts the links are no longer valid? Or would that not even leave a still image to see?

Having looked again my browser tells me it's a link to a jpg though! I'm very confused now lol.

Try it now. Fixed the code. IMG tags used to be the standard way to post images with a link (in this case a link to the video)

However since we upgraded the forum software to incorporate a better image resizer and litebox viewer, anything coded with IMG tags only opens up in the litebox viewer, however if they replace the IMG with IMGLINK in their code then it works as before.
