:(:(Hi there ive just bought my first biza 2,0 8v and had my first break down. i set off on holiday yesterday got on to the motoway and a mile down the road the car engine just died. it was a bit heary as there is no hard shoulder on that section of motorway. i waited 5 mins the car started again and i got 200 yards again then it cut out again. i was recoverd by the RAC got home and changed the fuel filter, took it for a quick blast and it did the same again. it seems to be when it gets warm. any got any idea,s please

before you take it off, when it dies pull the coil lead off at the dizzy end and lie it on the rocker cover, to see if it sparks. could be fuelling related rather than ignition,

may be faulty fuel pump relay or pump also, worth checking for a spark just to be safe

someone else on here had the same problem with a brand new crank pos sensor, sure they changed lots of other bits before they tried another too. easy enough to change but thats not the point, should get money back for the hassle
