Car cuts out

I've had my leon for just over a yr now and nothing really to fault with the car. However Monday this week I drove to work no problems then on the way home when I came to stop at traffic lights or a junction as soon as I took the car out of gear the revs dropped quicker then normal and on a couple of occasions just kicked back in before cutting out but on three occasions the car cut out.

Yeaterday the same and today all seems ok ??

I have been having the same problem with my corddy, it does not happen all the time and I have been searching for a solution but have not found a diffinitive one yet, but mine seems to happen when the lights are on. I have looked at other general car forums and other people are saying that there cars only do it through the winter months, but again I havent seen any posts that have a resolution to the problem.

Have you checked the throttle body? Could be getting coked up a bit. Or the engine coolant temp sensor? Could be several things unfortunately

try cleaning the throttle body first

although my car has other issues, cleaning the throttle body did solve that problem as well as a rough idle
