post the code for us, as there are many different 'boosting issues'

14 psi is not enough no. But iirc limp mode is about 7 psi. Stage 2 should hit somewhere around 21 psi

Might be a leak somewhere, so best place to start (also cheapest) is run past all the hoses and see if connections are ok. Get it on vagcom as well, and if you don't have it then buy it. You'll be needing it plenty with these cars

oh and welcome; change the name though lol ;)

it wont be n75 bypass.. unless its running a manual boost controller or such..
14psi is either a low revo setting (it is adjustable) or something else.

You need vag-com and logging to confirm whats going on.
Do you have an SPS revo switch box or Select+ with the car (to adjust revo? or check its settings at least?) - you will need this also

where abouts in the world are you?

this is where you have to look up any fault code you'll be having in the future

at the moment the ones you have are:

17964/P1556 - Charge Pressure Control: Negative Deviation
Possible Symptoms

* Reduced power output
* Limp mode

Possible Causes

* Boost Pressure too Low
* Hoses/Pipes incorrect connected, disconnected or leaking
* Charger Pressure Control defective
o VNT (variable nozzle turbo): nozzles stuck
* Solenoid Valve for Boost Pressure Control (N75) defective

Possible Solutions

* Check Hoses/Pipes to/between Components
* Check Solenoid Valve for Boost Pressure Control (N75)
* Check / Clean / Replace Charge Pressure Control
o Check / Clean mechanism for variable nozzles

17535 P1127 Long Term Fuel Trim mult.,Bank1 System too Rich

17695 P1287 Turbocharger bypass valve open

were the codes cleared after the headgasket job was done?
some of these may be disconnection type errors.

If you clear the codes now, will these all return on first driving the car again?

yes after theheadgasket was replaced the codes came up but i will get it put back on vag com but still only boosting to 14psi and double checked and it has a stage 2 revo for sure.

i have also been told it could be the forge actuator as its on a slight angle?

thanks martyn
ps thanks for changing the title i am pants on computers to be honest

the lad who owned the car before me (ian on here i think) had the ko3s, intercooler and actuator fitted and then took it for the remap and the rod from mthe actuator is on a angle which could be causing it to stick but would this effect the boost?

thanks martyn

short somewhere, and i bet its either a melted n112 or n249, fallen onto the manifold after the n249 bypass, just a guess

bodged melted wires by the N249/112 I suspect...
if you reset these codes they all come back immediately?

seen this a few times, including on my car :redface:

just check down the back of the block / on the top of exhaust manifold for anything melted or that shouldnt be there
