if not then id pay him back, to be honest if its your works van id park it outside his house every single night, or simply reverse it into his car, garden fence, bushes or anything else.
you could simply front him, people who do things all sneaky at the middle of the night are sh1t houses, sure if you fronted him he would back down, if not enjoy beating him down, just make sure you got witnesess on your side after all its what you can prove not what you know!!
if your bored then think of some new car punishment tricks....car wars is great but i guess it could end up with your own damaged!!
rip his valve caps out......tie a bike chain through his wheels.......dog sh1t on his door handle.....stones in his exhaust.....vasaline on his windows.....nitromorse on his paint.......put a dead pigs/cows head on his bonnet.......tie his towbar to his front door then watch as he drives off.......get a load of your mates and tip his car over........or simply just blow it up!!! fireworks and petrol. or pay some little scrot to steal his car, you could then take a few bits from it and post them to him!!

Why not go round for a grown up chat and ask him why he did it, and if you can put it behind you? Thinking that your being decent about it, he may give away something. When you think he has dropped himself in it enough, walk away and stop the dictaphone that you have had running all the time in your pocket. Then grin happily with yourself all the way down to the police station.
