My mates ibiza has a very odd problem. Although the battery is full and has 12 volts going through it the car wont start. No lights on dash, no clock light, no mileage displaying either no lights at all. like the batterys dead but not!. We managed to get it going again by randomly prodding the battery terminals with a tester and it sparked and everything came to life. It keeps happening and was dead again this morning. Its a 2000 X Reg Cupra Mk3 Any ideas?
The other odd thing was when he uses his headlights (when the car is working) dash lights flicker etc also when he wound down his driver window all the centre dash lights came on and a few was flickering. its very strange! only happened since seat done an MOT
