i swapped this from my spare engine earlier thought it could of been that as it came out of my old writen off cupra so may of been damaged inside but it was still the same
mine did. idled fine and died the moment pedal was pressed. it was just after replacing clocks and eventually keys. was told it was immobiliser due to ecu not being happy with the key/clocks not matching
ok thanks all for your help it was doin the same thing b4 i swapped the throttle body as it was from my old engine which i crashed so thought it might of been damaged from that so it looks like ill need to get vag-com on it but it did cut out a few times whils revin it but not all the time
Ecu is knackered would be my guess, have a search in my old threads i had it when i sold my revo ecu and the lad killed it on his car but vagcom will confirm
i was drivin the car the same day i took the engine out there's nothin wrong with the ecu, the ecu has not left the car just a case of gettin the throttle body aligned then.
17952- angle sensor 1 for throttle actuator signal to large
17581-shareware version to de-code all dtc's please register/active
17526-shareware version to de-code all dtc's please register active
so im guessin the 2 last ones are to do with allining the throttle body to the car and that the car is runnin 3" inlet so i think ill have 2 get the mapped ecu on and see if it works better with it on as the map with run with the mods i got cz now im tryin 2 get it to run on standard ecu!
