Im about to purchase a Maxi Cosi car seat for my little girl, do they fit in the back of leons and does anyone no somewhere to get them that i can get a good price?

Thanks

Halfords are pretty on the ball with child safety seats. In addition to this, all stores are provided with a fitting catalogue which details any difficulties or additional accessories that will be needed when doing a variety of fittings. (Stereos, light-bulbs, child-seats etc.)

The Maxi Cosi is priced competitively and I wouldn't worry about eliteist opinions. It isn't Halfords branded and you can fit it as opposed to them. So you're not "selling out" by going to Halfords :D

Have fun.

Hi, I have a Maxi Cosi, Black with silver trim, exactly the same as the seats in my Leon, so really blends in.

They fit in just fine, though I dont use the Iso-fix just the seat-belt.
They do leave a crease-mark on the seat bolsters when you take them out but it does go away after a while.

I got mine from Halfrauds over a year ago, not sure if they still do them, shouldnt cost you more than £100 i would say. They are definately worth it IMO.

They do still do them. I worked there pre-Uni and then while at Uni, just a different store.

They were selling them as recently as October and their auto-safety range won't of changed since then. Unless, of course, you manage to find an out of stock store. If this happens, do not believe them when they give you a delivery date. They've almost no way of gauranteeing delivery.

Well they are currently in a sale for £89.99, but the store is out of stock, he said 'order it off our website' but they are £114.99 on there!!

Im after the baby pink one with flowers.. lovely eh!!

Nice :D They're open almost across the board till 8pm.. so perhaps take a drive after work or whatever to another store? (Any excuse for a drive IMO).

I was going to say, actually, the Cosi was almost always the focus of a sale or offer, mainly because it's their best selling seat. Maybe try eBay?

Well i now see why, this one i want is called the XP the other one was a more basic version....

Looks like its gonna be expensive factoring in some window tints to hide this...

HA HA HA isnt it lovely eh??

Its wicked aint it?

Thing is them seats look propa comfortable!!

Bless her, she will look cool as, sat chilling in that, also getting her a bright pink maclaren pushchair ha ha

Niceness. Should get her a leather BMW sponsors jacket also :D Then she can really be part of the car-click. :p

Seriously though, I spent many lunch break, shoe-horned into a 12months-and-up Recaro child-seat. So comfy....!

I have the Britax First Class, great Seat for a Seat LOL

I have fitted this fine in all my cars (Audi S3/Mondeo ST220/Volvo S60) and now the Leon FR, the colour is Black and Silver so matches with the interior of my FR also.

Forward and rear facing and not a bad price at the moment.

Hello :) What was your honest impression on the ST220? Fan or not? I've been umming and ahhing over them since last year. Mainly as a commuting/work-horse car with enough guts to put a smile on my face.

Just short of owner-opinions though. Whatcha think?

Superb, probably the best car I have owned and I have owned a BMW 328I Sport /Audi S3/Passat Highline/Volvo S60 etc etc.

Super build, coilovers on all 4 corners, the car hadles very well for the size and is as quick as the 328, but has 4 doors and a huge boot LOL

I had a facelift version (oct 2003 >) and had the DVD touch Screen Nav, Infra Red Recaro's (looks great with Silver paint) standard toys are excellent, heated electric recaros, auto wipers, lights, dim mirror, electric everything etc.

I would get one but not as a commuter car as the 3.0 V6 is very thristy, I used to get around 215 miles from a tank, £60 to fill!

It will put a smile on your face though :) and the sound is awsome!

Would not hesitate to have another one, but maybee in the St TDCi 2.2 150bhp diesel version as a commuter.

Here are some pics of my old baby, now lives in Scotland :(
