You could get it vinyled but it would look poo poo. I think someone in the past might have had them made. You definately want to get yourself a strut brace if your going to fit one as carbon fibre bonnets are flimsy and the original bonnet does transfer some loads across the car.
you could have a vinyl wrap, but it would be one of the most pikey things i've ever seen on a car. Places like Performance Trim could make them. When I last spoke to him, he wasn't keen on doing one-offs. The bonnet has a frame underneath the outer 'skin' panel. He can make a bonnet with or without that frame. I'm not sure that the bonnet is a load path though......

I think it would look like you've bumped your car and put a black bonnet on, to be honest.
You can get bonnet bras, about £65 IIRC.
I been after one for years and wasn't going to get a one-off and as it's been said most companies won't do it. Group buy yea but I've seen sooooo many group buys on carbon fibre bonnets and they never happen because people aren't will to pay the prices...... we still be talking around the £500 mark each!
The price is why a fibreglass one would do me, must be a fair bit cheaper. All I want is the weight saving on the front end

few months thats the thing, once a mould is done the company would want it paid for asap.... thats the 1st thing people when it comes to GB's and you will need at least 5 I'm guessing.
Jenk just do what Stu did and cut some of the bonnet from underneath....... I'm all for weight saving but didnt bother with a carbon fibre or fibre glass, plus I had the car all corner weighted so that would mean I need to do it again lol

Seen that at French Car Show on a saxo...... looked funky but wouldn't do it myself
