Ive had a few problems with mine also...
Kept getting an 'error' displayed on the screen till eventually it stopped working :s
Swapped out the whole changer and it worked for a couple of days.. Then would play like half a song before giving the 'error'.. Now just says magazine all the time even though its in properly!!
I give up
