CD changer issues

hi all,

having issues with my cd changer recently, runs fo bout 3 minutes and then switches back to the radio and won't go bac to cd at all.... anyone come across this before???

If it's not earthing properly, the CD changer sometimes disappears from view


Can't think why it would be ok, then die ... but plugs/ground wire (if it has one) could be worth investigating ??

My Mk3 one does that all the time. Gotta Sony t69 cd changer - so got a new one off eBay and tried that - still same results - the volume knob is daft too, just touch it and it goes to 0 and is almost impossible to turn up without going back to 0... have concluded that it's probably the head unit itself.
